Merrillville chamber says farewell with awards banquet

HOBART | Merrillville Chamber Of Commerce held its Annual Awards Banquet at Avalon Manor. More than 140 members attended this last annual meeting of the Merrillville Chamber of Commerce before its merger with the Greater Crown Point Chamber of Commerce takes place this week.

David Lasser of Commercial In-Sites, LLC received the prestigious John J. Janik Award for his numerous hours of volunteerism in Economic Development and Membership Recruitment and Development.
